Dean Turner
Dean has been a very keen fishkeeper ever since childhood. On moving into his first home he developed a large 7ft x 3ft x 2ft marine reef aquarium with a large fish stocking.
This soon became a full time hobby for Dean, maintaining and stocking his reef tank using his past knowledge and experience learnt building and maintaining fish tanks from being a child.
Dean's wife Tracey gave birth to their gorgeous Daughter, Kristen, in 2006 and from there they decided to move their family into a bigger home.
On moving Dean and his brother Jason installed a false wall housing a 6ft x 6ft large tank (much to the horror of Tracey!) incorporating a tropical water feature to house their two australian water dragons.
It didn't finish there, having moved next door to a landscape gardener Dean set about transforming the rear garden of his home, installing a 30,000 litre koi pond (see inset on home page) with an amazing water feature (keeping Tracey happy!).
Dean and Tracey now spend their free time enjoying both their koi and tropical water features, which provides them with a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Nearing the end of 2008 Dean felt that it was time to expand on his hobby.
Dean knew from his own experience that there was a lack of expert advice and quality marine livestock in the area and so offering others his hard earned expert knowledge and experience in this field as well as providing a much needed source of quality marine livestock became his mission.
