Meet Karl Hobb's, Karl is twenty three years old and started off with reptiles, mainly snakes, at the age of 9 and has become more and more heavily involved ever since then, primarily with Northern American Colubrids.

At present Karl keeps Albino Cali Kings, Albino San Diego Gopher's and Kenyan Sand Boa's as well as a Leucistic Leopard Gecko.

Karl has bred snakes many times and currently has his snakes in brumation.

His other hobbies include sea angling and boxing, in fact Karl finished this years runner up boxing for the Royal Navy.

Karl is hoping to have lots of offspring available in the new year, which will enable him to expand on his own collection.

The Reptile Room would like to introduce you to Brian, he is forty years old and has been interested in exotic animals for many years and has recently become a lizard keeper again.

Brian is currently keeping one adult male Chinese Water Dragon and three adult females housed in a large vivarium (6'long X 5' tall X 2' deep).

Mark and Kevin at The Reptile Room have helped Brian learn a lot along the way, and he has also been researching on the net and talking to a friend of the shops, John.


Brian has got many ideas from the tanks in the shop and has tried to make a "perfect" tank for his new family members and has had some early success in hatching Water Dragon eggs and Bearded Dragon eggs. Brian also has a Blue tongued skink named "Eric".

Brian's other interests are watching Movies, walking his dog and he also used to keep tropical fish.
