Adam (16) has been keeping reptiles since he was 12, when he started off with a Schneider's skink. He has since progressed to housing a variety of lizards and snakes such as his 6ft Albino Black Rat Snake, and is currently focusing on plans to breed both geckos and snakes.

Adam has always had a keen interest in reptiles and is currently pursuing this at Myerscough College studying animal care, part of which included his placement here at The Reptile Room.

His spare time is spent playing the guitar and the bass, either his own stuff or that of his favourite bands (Tool, A Perfect Circle and Nine Inch Nails). He also enjoys skateboarding when the weather is right!

In the past, he has also kept things such as Fire Bellied newts, fresh water fish and rodents; these however gradually became less appealing as he discovered the world of reptiles.
